If you’re lucky enough to be close to an H-E-B grocery store…this is a quick and easy way to have great smoked beef filets! They are prepackaged…pre-seasoned…and pre-bacon wrapped in 5 oz servings.
Oak wood smoked…but, you can certainly use the smoke flavor of your choice (apple might be nice).

You will need:
- H-E-B Texas Originals Beef Filets Wrapped in Peppered Bacon
- Pellet flavor of your choice (I used Oak…that’s what we use for everything in Texas)
- Remove filets from refrigerator 30-45 minutes before putting on the grill.
- Pre-heat smoker to 250°
- Smoke at 250° for about 1.5 hr. Internal Temperature=162°
